Old Cuban
4 drinks in a champagne coupe glass.
Remember to cool the glass down beforehand.
1 dl dark rum (possibly maltego, Malecon)
0.5 dl sugarsirup 1:1 (make ahead)
0.5 dl Lime juice (or lemon if you don't have lime)
6-8 mint leaves
Champagne
1. Make the sugarsirup: boil the same amount of sugar with the same amount of water. You can make a large portion (1 kg of sugar to 1 liter of water) and keep it in the fridge.
2. Shake ice, lime juice, mint and sugar syrup with rum in a shaker or jam glass. Shake for approx. 30 sec.
3. Strain the drink into 4 cold champagne glasses and top with champagne
4. You can make the drink in a light version without rum with the same step.

Ingredients:
0.5 dl sugar syrup 1:1
0.5 dl Lime juice approx. 1 lime
6-8 mint leaves
top with rhubarb soda or sparkling water
cinnamon sugar to the rim of the glass
finely grated lime zest
1. Make the sugar syrup: boil the same amount of sugar with the same amount of water. You can make a large portion (1 kg of sugar to 1 liter of water) and keep it in the fridge.
2. Get your champagne glass ready, moisten the rim of the glass with a little lime juice or water. Dip the glass into cinnamon sugar on a plate so that the rim is nicely decorated.
3. Shake ice, lime juice, mint and sugar syrup with rum in a shaker or jam glass. Shake for approx. 30 sec.
4. Strain the drink into 1 cold champagne glass and top with rhubarb soda or mineral water, grate a little bit of lime zest over it and garnish with a mint leaf.
